Eggless Chocolate Cake

Ingredients For Cake:

  • All purpose flour 11/2 Cup
  • Powdered sugar 1/2 cup
  • Condensed Milk 1 cup/1 can
  • Cocoa powder 3 tablespoon
  • Instant coffee 1 teaspoon
  • Baking powder 2 teaspoon
  • Baking soda 1/2 teaspoon
  • Salt 1/2 teaspoon
  • Butter 3/4th  cup
  • Warm milk 1/2 cup
  • Vinegar 1 teaspoon
  • Vanilla essence 1 teaspoon

Ingredients For Frosting:

  • Heavy whipping cream 2 cup
  • Powdered sugar 1 cup/ as per taste
  • Cream of tartar a pinch (optional)
  • Vanilla essence 1 teaspoon

Procedure For Cake:

  1. Dust the baking pan with butter and flour and set aside.
  2. preheat the oven at 350°F/180°C.
  3. Sieve the all purpose flour 3 to 4 time by adding baking soda,baking powder,cocoa powder ,instant coffee powder , powdered sugar and set aside.
  4. In a large mixing bowl add condensed  milk and butter and beat with electric beater until soft and fluffy.
  5. Then add vanilla essence, and mix well with electric beater.
  6. Now add all the mixture of Flour, one cup at a time and beat, then add one cup of flour mixture to avoid the lumps.
  7. Now add warm milk and beat at medium speed until light and fluffy.
  8. Pour the mixture to dusted pan ,and bake in an preheated oven at 350°F/180°C for 25 to 30 minutes .
  9. Insert the tooth pick in the center of cake if it comes out clean then cake is done, if tooth pick does comes out clean keep the cake in oven for few more minutes.
  10. Cool down the cake for 10 minutes , then take it out from the pan and wrap it with plastic wrap and set aside .

Procedure For Frosting:

  1. Take 2 cups of heavy whipping cream in large mixing bowl and beat with an electric beater at medium speed until you get soft peaks.
  2. Now start adding powdered sugar 2 teaspoon at a time, and keep beating.
  3. Then add vanilla essence,cream of tartar which give stability to frosting and beat at medium speed until light and fluffy ,approximately it takes about 10 to 12 minutes or less.
  4. Frosting is ready.

Assembling The Cake:

  1. Keep the cake on cake board , with sharp serrated knife cut out the top and bottom layer to level the cake.
  2. Now slice the cake exactly in two equal parts.
  3. Place the first slice of cake add the sugar water over the cake.
  4. Now add whipped cream and spread it nicely.
  5. Now place the second slice of cake on the top of cream and cover the cake with whipped cream and spread it nicely.
  6. Decorate the cake by adding frosting in to the decorating bags .
  7. Serve immediately and enjoy.
