Soji (Rava) Ladoo

Soji (Rava) ladoos is a super quick and sweet recipe that is aromatic and taste delicious with slight crunch that comes from roasted soji and dry fruits. Soji ladoos is made with easily available ingredients like soji/Rava, sugar , ghee, elaichi powder,milk and dry fruits.


  • Soji (Rava) 2 cups
  • Granulated Sugar 2 Cups or as per taste
  • Ghee (Clarified butter) 3 tablespoon
  • Cardamom (Ilaichi) powder 1 teaspoon
  • Milk 1/2 Cup
  • Sliced dry fruits 1/2 cup


  1. Heat the wide pan add ghee allow to melt then add soji and roast for 4-5 minutes.
  2. Then add elaichi powder mix well.
  3. Add granulated sugar and keep mixing and roasting for 2-3 minutes.
  4. Now add sliced dry fruits keep mixing and roasting.
  5. Finally add milk and mix well, if the mixture is too dry add little bit more milk keep mixing and roasting till all the ingredients bind together.
  6. Transfer the mixture in to wide plate and let it cool down for 1-2 minutes.
  7. Start making the  desirable size ladoo with hands .
  8. Quickly make all the ladoos before mixture get cool down.
  9. Serve immediately or keep in air tight jar for later use.
  10. Enjoy the ladoo with some spice snacks and tea.

Tips to make perfect Rava ladoo:

  1. Fry the soji/rava well on low medium flame.
  2. Keep stirring continuously until it is done to prevent burning or browning of soji.
  3. If your ladoo mixture got runny then add roasted soji and sugar in equal quantity to get the correct consistency.
  4. If your ladoo mixture got too dry add little bit more milk.
