Introduction:
A lovely chicken dish with dominant flavors of mustard seeds and spring onion greens.
Ingredients:

Whole chicken (cut into medium sized pieces) 800 grams

Onion (thin sliced) 1 cup

Ginger garlic paste 2 teaspoon
-
Tomatoes ( fine chopped) 1 cup

Mustard seeds 1 teaspoon
-
Gram masala powder 1 teaspoon

Cumin powder 1 teaspoon

Kashmiri red chili powder 2 teaspoon

Cooking oil 5 tablespoon

Spring onions ( fine chopped) 1 cup

Salt to taste.
Procedure:

Heat the oil in pan ,saute onions till transparent.add tomatoes and cook for 10 to 15 minutes,set aside.

In separate pan heat the remaining oil and add mustard seeds and saute till they crackle.

stir in the onion and tomato mixture , cook for 3 to 4 minutes.

Now add chicken , cumin powder,garam masala powder and red chili powder, salt to taste, cook covered on low heat from about 15 minutes or till chicken is done.

Serve hot by garnishing with spring onions.
