Paneer seekh kebab

Introduction:
Kebab is a dish of pieces of meat, fish, or vegetables roasted or grilled on a skewers.

Ingredients:

  • Paneer (grated) 1 kg
  • Green chili (finely  chopped) 4 to 5
  • Onion (finely chopped) 1 cup
  • Ginger (crushed)1 tablespoon
  • Coriander leaves (finely chopped) 1 cup
  • Black pepper powder 2 teaspoon
  • Cumin powder 1 teaspoon
  • Red chili powder 1 teaspoon
  • Corn flour 2 tablespoon
  • Butter for basting
  • Salt to taste.

Procedure:

  1. Mix all the ingredients , adding corn flour at the end, and knead well.
  2. With the wet hands wrap the paneer mixture around the skewers to form 4 to 5″ long kebabs.
  3. Roast in an preheated oven ( 350 degree Fahrenheit) or in tandoor or charcoal grill or shallow fry on pan  for 5 to 6 minutes, basting occasionally with melted butter.
  4. Serve hot with salad and mint chutney.
