Egg Curry

  • Servings: 4 people

Introduction:

A spicy dish made with boiled eggs, tomatoes, dry coconut paste, and fried onions and normally eaten with bread or rotis.

Ingredients:

  • Eggs (hard boiled) 5
  • Onion (thin sliced) 1 cup
  • Tomato ( fine chopped) 1 cup
  • Dry coconut paste 2 cups
  • Ginger garlic paste 2 teaspoon
  • Garam masala powder 1 teaspoon
  • Red chili powder 2 teaspoon
  • Oil 2 tablespoon
  • Salt to taste.

Procedure:

  1. Heat the oil in pan then add onion and fry until they become golden brown.
  2. Now add ginger garlic paste , garam masala powder and saute for few seconds.
  3. Add chopped tomatoes saute for few minutes and then add red chili powder and saute for few more minutes.
  4. Now add fine paste of dry coconut, and salt to taste mix well ,cook covered for 5 minutes.
  5. Add 1 cup of water and allow it to boil for few more minutes.
  6. Finally add boiled eggs cook covered for few more minutes.
  7. Serve hot with chapati or boiled rice.
