Baked Feta Pasta

Introduction:

Baked feta pasta is a simple dish made by oven roasting a block of feta cheese with cherry tomatoes , chili flakes, dry basil leaves, dry oregano leaves, olive oil and salt to create a salty and cheese sauce and all  magic happens in the oven .

  • Preparation Time: 10 minute
  • Baking Time: 30-40minutes
  • Cooking Time:10-15minutes

Ingredients :

  • Pasta of your choice 300 grams
  • Cherry tomatoes 250 grams
  • Feta cheese 250 grams
  • Chili flakes / crushed dry red chili peppers 2 teaspoon
  • Dry basil leaves 1 teaspoon
  • Dry oregano leaves 1 teaspoon
  • Olive oil as needed
  • Salt to taste

Instructions :

  1. In a large baking dish add cherry tomatoes and arrange them on the side of the dish.
  2. Add salt to taste.
  3. Next keep a chunk of feta cheese in the middle.
  4. Then add chili flakes, oregano leaves, basil leaves and olive oil.
  5. Bake in an oven at  350°F  for 40 minutes.
  6. In the meantime boil the water in large pan and cook pasta.
  7. Once the pasta is cooked strain the water.
  8. Add cold water to stop further cooking or put these boiled pasta in cold water and set aside.
  9. Take out the baked cheese and tomatoes from oven.
  10. Mix it well.
  11. Finally add cooked pasta.
  12. Mix it well.
  13. Garnish with finely chopped cilantro.
  14. Serve hot and enjoy.
